The bamboo counter top shown here is made from a build up of PlyBoo 3/4" vertical solid amber bamboo plywood doubled up on the edges to make it 1 1/2" thick.  I arranged the cut sections to that the end is all end grain to give a consistent look. The top is finished with a water based acrylic by Target Coatings.

The vertical solid bamboo plywood resembles and works like solid wood, and it's a great environmentally friendly choice for countertops, drawer boxes, cabinets, drawer fronts and doors.
