Nisei Coffee Table Padauk
This is our neo-Arts & Crafts style coffee table
with Asian inspiration in natural birch and
Paduak. I
just love this Paduak! We made a variety of these solid wood coffee
tables for some local galleries in various combinations of
wood. These coffee tables contain NO particle-board! They are 100%
solid wood with natural water-based finishes. We don't use some cheesy
veneer or plastic wrapped manufactured formaldehyde filled panel for
these coffee table tops like the cheap junk that is coming in by the
boat-load from China. And, we don't normally use any stains since we
want the natural beauty of the wood - not some uniform brown color.
The table dimensions are about 46" long x 23" wide x 17" high.

Southwest Style Coffee Table
Our neo-southwest style coffee table
is in natural solid maple. It features the characteristic step and mesa
common to the southwest style with the flare of the
tapered legs angled to 45 degrees. This adds a refreshing
contemporary twist to the southwest look.
Alternate view.
Of course this southwest coffee table is 100% solid wood, and it's built
to last for generations, unless you dance on it.
Dimensions: 48" long x 24" wide x 17" high

Nisei Coffee Table Purpleheart
Here is our neo-Arts & Crafts style coffee table in
purpleheart
and birch. Of course it's a variation on the theme of our neo-southwest
table. The finish is a clear acrylic. This is the natural color of the
purpleheart wood, but we do use a dye to help retain the color and keep
it from browning as purpleheart tends to do. We have one of these in our
own living room as a test piece and it is holding up very well.
The
table dimensions are about 46" long x 23" wide x 17" high.

Tansu Style Coffee Table
This is our Japanese Tansu influenced storage coffee table
in a combination of Jarrah and Maple with a
Bamboo Plywood top. These units
have a solid back so that you can face it towards your sofa and hide all
of your magazines and such from view.
The dimensions are 42" long x 19" wide x 17" high.
This can (and is) also used as a shoe bench. We have placed it with our coffee tables due to the fact that we have had a number of clients purchase these to use as coffee tables.
